Many users believe the iPhone is the most popular phone in the country right now. It is a multi-purpose, accessible device, which makes it ideal for business people. Because so many rely on their phones to save data, a back up system is essential. Apple’s back up system, iCloud, offers online back up for some files, but it leaves many different file types unsupported. If you rely on your iPhone to store all of your contacts and work files, it is imperative that you get these three back up apps to make sure you will always have the information available.

IDRIVE MOBILE
According to Online Backup Reviews, “IDrive Mobile allows you to backup contacts, files and any documents that might be on your phone, including ones that aren’t supported in any way by iCloud.” This app will even allow you to backup Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents, which are commonly used in the business world. The great thing about iDrive Mobile is that it offers online back up, which means you can access your files from any computer.
PLAXO
If it is your contact information that you are worried about losing, you definitely do not want to go without Plaxo. I Use This states that Plaxo “combines your multiple address books with your iPhone/iPad contacts & delivers your entire contact network right to your iOS device.” These contacts are then easily recoverable if you lose your phone. Plus, since Plaxo combines all of your contacts in one place, you do not have to worry about duplicate contact information.
Another great feature of the Plaxo app is that whenever another Plaxo user updates his information, your contact information for that person will be updated as well. Plaxo can also send you birthday alerts so you will never miss an important client’s birthday again.
PKGBACKUP
Of all of the back up apps available, PKGBackup is arguable the best one available. Lifehacker believes this because it “can back up pretty much any data on your iPhone—including your jailbreak apps, tweaks, and extensions. Not only that, it can back it up to your Dropbox account.” PKGBackup also allows you to schedule your own back ups whenever you want them to occur, and however frequently you want them to occur. That way, if you are constantly updating important data on your phone, you do not have to worry about waiting until the end of the day for your back up to occur.
Another reason that PKGBackup exceeds its competition is because it allows you to choose what content you want backed up. You do not have to waste storage space on information that you don’t need backed up. It also gives you the option to share your back up data directly with others.
The peace of mind that you will receive from these three apps and from online back up in general is worth the minimal cost and time that they require.
