To use Avid Studio app for iPad you need to install the latest version of iOS firmware, 4GB free space, turn off other apps running on the background and go for Airplane mode.
Airplane mode on iPad not only increases your battery life when enabled it also disables all the wireless connections and services so that it does not interfere with aircraft operation.You can enable Airplane mode from the Settings screen at the top an “airplane” icon appears in Status bar.
