Google is releasing a new tool which will let programmers as well as the non-programmers to create mobile applications for Android powered devices.
Using app inventor you can build any app without knowing progamming.You will be able to visually design the way the app looks.It has also got text-to-speech capabilities with which you can get interactive.
Google has been testing App Inventor in classrooms around the United States for about 1 year.
The app will give Google an advantage in smartphone market.You can use Google Android App Inventor if you have a gmail account.

This certainly looks to be a great service from Google. Though I don’t have much knowledge on Android and related topics yet I think that this service will surely make Google more and more popular among those who use Android based smartphones. Really nice initiative from Google.

This looks so cool and promising. I am hearing about Scratch for the first time from Shekhar’s comment, but this Google’s App Inventor is going to rock. I wish I had an Android phone.

This would have been a better idea if it just allowed regular people to create apps for themselves, for their own phones, instead of clogging the android market with what may well be just crappy apps.
We all think we are geniuses, but the reality is far from the truth.
