Apple released iOS 6.0.1 few days back to public. The new iOS update comes with some bugs fixes and improvements which includes Wi-Fi connectivity issues, horizontal lines on keyboard, Passbook bugs, Microsoft Exchange, iTunes Match and much more. If you have updated your device to iOS 6.0.1 then you can downgrade iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6 and iOS 5.1.1.
Downgrade iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6, iOS 5.1.1
Download Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 .
Downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 is possible only if you have saved SHSH blobs.
Connect device to your computer and launch Redsn0w by double-clicking on it.
Enter your device into DFU mode.
* Hold down Power (corner) button for 5 seconds.
* Without releasing the Power button, also hold down the Home (bottom center) button along with the Power button for 10 seconds.
* Without releasing the home button, stop holding down the power button for up to 15 seconds.
In Redsn0w main interface , Go to Extras >> SHSH Blobs >> Stitch in Redsn0w.
Navigate to select IPSW and choose iOS 6 or iOS 5.1.1 IPSW file which you have downloaded in above step.
If you have saved the SHSH blobs for the firmware on your computer then select Local and point Redsn0w to that place. If the blobs are saved in Cydia then click on Cydia.
Enter device into Pwned DFU to successfully restore your device in iTunes. Launch iTunes and wait till your device is detected. To restore device hold Shift and Restore (Windows) and Mac OS X should select
Alt and Restore.
Select stitched file which was created by Redsn0w in step above.
Wait your device will be downgraded from iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6, iOS 5.1.1.
