Saurik has updated Cydia to Cydia 1.1.6.The new version of Cydia removes the absolute code of Twitter-inspired “dickbar” April Fools’ Day joke of last year.

According to Saurik :

“For April Fools’ 2011, I did a Twitter-inspired “dickbar” in Cydia; I apparently never removed the code and it just checks for “April 1?. As many users just get confused and angry regarding Cydia’s April Fools’ jokes, I have pushed Cydia 1.1.6 (which removes the obsolete code).”

How to update to Cydia 1.1.6

If you want to update Cydia to the latest version then go to your iOS device and then launch Cydia where there will be a prompt to go for “Essential upgrade” >> Confirm on “Essential Upgrade”>> when update is finished close Cydia and then restart Cydia and you will find Cydia 1.1.6 running on your device.

Cydia 1.1.6 does not include any new feature.
