VLC which is one of the most popular Media Player for Windows and Mac users has been updated to version 2.0.
The new version of VLC is known as VLC 2.0 “Twoflower” comes with a new rendering pipeline for video,higher quality subtitles of videos and has a new video filter which will for sure enhance the quality of videos and it also fixes various bugs.
Has support for Multi-threaded decoding for formats such H.264, MPEG-4/Xvid and WebM, new video and audio outputs for Windows 7, Android, iOS and OS/2 and rewritten support for images, which also includes jpeg, png, xcf and bmp.
For Mac users there is new better User Interface of single window and can be used in two colors – Lion Grey and QTX Black, more extension support,better Lion integration and has support for all QTKit devices.
Blu-Ray support is currently in experimental stage.
VLC Version 2.0 is available for Windows XP SP2, Vista, and 7, OS X (10.5 or later on PowerPC or 32-bit and 64-bit Intel machines).
