Apple released an email client for iPhone Sparrow last week.

Sparrow is already a popular email client for Mac OS X.

The app enabled users to manage multiple accounts Gmail, Google Apps, Hotmail, iCloud, AOL from the app but one of the major drawback of the app is that it has no support for Push notification.

However, you don’t need to get disappointed as iOS developer Kim Streich has released Sparrow Push a new Cydia tweak in the Cydia which gives the Sparrow for iPhone app the ability to push new mails to your iPhone but the condition is that the app should be running in the background.

You can download and install Sparrow Push from BigBoss repository for free.To use this tweak you need to purchase Sparrow for iPhone app from the App Store.Sparrow Push adds options in the Sparrow app to Enable or Disable Sparrow Push.

Sparrow Push is a jailbreak tweak and hence you will have to jailbreak your device using Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze on iOS 5.1.
