How To Fix The iOS SSL Bug In Your iPhone Without Updating To iOS 7.0.6

Apple released iOS 7.0.6 last week for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch which patched SSL security bug. It is essential that you upgrade your iOS device to the latest iOS 7.0.6 and then jailbreak again with Evasi0n Jailbreak for iOS 7.0.6. However, it is time taking and tedious task for jaibreakers to take a back up, re-jailbreak and re-install all the tweaks again on your iPhone.

To solve your problem, a known Cydia developer, Ryan Petrich has released a tweak to fix the SSL bug without the need to update to iOS 7.0.6. The name of the tweak is SSLPatch and is available for a download from his own private repo for free.

Steps

Open Cydia on your jailbroken device and click on “Manage”.

Under Manage Tab click on “Sources”.

Under “Sources” Tab click on “Edit/Add”.

Under “Edit/Add” you will have to type URL sources.

Enter the following http://rpetri.ch/repo URL and click on Add Source button.

Once you have added the Ryan Petrich repo,search and add “SSLPatch”.

Respring your device now.

By following the above mentioned steps SSL bug should now be fixed on your iPhone,iPad and iPod running iOS 7.0.5 or lower.
