Google has announced Nexus Q known as a “social streaming device” which can stream all your music, video and web content from Google Play using Cloud computing at Google I/O.

“Social streaming” enables multiple Android device users to share their music and movie playlists, your friends who are having Android phones can connect to Nexus Q and share their music or videos from their library.

Nexus Q supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and NFC and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.You require compatible speakers or HD TV to stream your content to.

The device is currently available ony in US for a pre-order from Google Play Store for $299.99 which seems a bit pricey.
