Apple’s iOS 10.1 comes with various bugs fixes, improvements, along with iMessage effects with Reduce Motion enabled. Previously, when Reduce Motion was enabled balloons and bubble effects was not working in iMessage. With the release of iOS 10.1 things have changed.
In iOS 10.1 message effects will play even when Reduce Motion is turned on.
Disable iMessage Effects On iPhone
Bubble effects can be annoying for various iPhone users. Here’s how you can disable iMessage effects in iOS 10.1 on iPhone.
Launch Settings app on iPhone.
Now, tap on General.
Next, tap on Accessibility.
Tap on Reduce Motion
Toggle Auto-play Message Effects to the OFF position.
By enabling Reduce Motion and toggling “Auto-Play Message Effects” to OFF position you can disable iMessage Effects in iOS 10.1 in iPhone.
