Facebook is a very popular social networking site with over 500 million active users whereas Google’s social networking Orkut is popular mostly in India.

Facebook is now offering integration of Orkut for the users in India.When i logged in today to my Facebook Account i found a message displaying find Orkut friends on Orkut.

To find your Orkut friends on Facebook you will have to authorize Google to access your account and then you can send them friend’s request.

What are your views on this feature of Facebook? Have you imported your Orkut friends to Facebook?

    Well, this is a nice addition to facebook. Saw the same notification today, when I logged into the facebook. I have not used this feature but will use it very soon. But I think I will face problem as I don’t access my Orkut account with Google Account. Instead I access it with my Yahoo account. I will have to find solution to this. Thanks for the update. Keep writing.

    its really a cool feature,all these things are to make users enjoy social interaction with their friends and mates.Now facebook made it really easy to find your orkut friends on facebook,but when you signup for facebook it asks for find your friends using your email id there you can use your email id used for making orkut friends[if its gmail then you will surely gonna get all of your orkut friends there].
