Installing your wordpress blog to your hosting is the most important thing which you need to do after you have chosen your hosting.
I installed wordpress through my hosting .In your hosting control panel there is an option of Fantastico.
To upload your wordpress (zip file ) to your hosting you need to follow these steps:
1. Log in to your hosting cpanel and click on Fantastico.
2. Then you need to select WordPress as an option.
3. Then there is an option New installation >> click on that.
You are on your way of installing your wordpress blog on your hosting.
You need to create a database using given database creation tool on your hosting control panel then rename wp-configs-sample.php to wp-configs.php and edit it with your database information.
The entire installation process is very easy and it hardly takes few minutes.
This is the process which i used with my hosting it might differ with others.
I hope that this tutorial will help bloggers who are using blogger as their blogging platform and want to shift to self hosted WordPress as i did.

Avoid using fantastico unless you have too many wordpress instance running. Better use ftp … you’ll laern a lot that way.

Rather than using Fantastico service provided in the hosting account, I prefer using FTP clients like Filezilla to upload Files to the Webhost. But if I ever wanted to use Fantastico this post of yours can be a great help. Thanks for posting this step-by-step process of how to upload the WordPress files to the web host using Fantastico service.
