iOS 5.1 Rumors – iOS 5.1 Features Leaked
iOS 5.1 Pre-GM is being leaked as per the claims of guys at BlogdoiPhone.New features as per the reports includes a new slide-to-camera shortcut on the lockscreen and support for Siri in Japanese.
GM stands for Golden Master version will be the final version which will be released to public if no bugs are found.
One of the another major features in iOS 5.1 would be Notes app.Till now Notes app has been limited to just writing,saving or editing notes but now as per the claims and screenshot shown below it will have text that can be underlined, changing of font color,bulleted lists and more.
Apple has seeded iOS 5.1 beta 3 last month for developers and it is being expected that iOS 5.1 release along with iPad 3 in March.
Photos of purported iPad 3 is being leaked which shows that iPad 3 will have Retina display.
We are aware that new iPad 3 is expected to have 2048×1536 Retina Display,4G LTE,quad-core Apple A6 system-on-a-chip,and better camera may be 5 or 8MP rear camera and a FaceTime HD front camera.
BGR has got hold of Apple’s iOS 5.1 GM which claims that lock screen in iOS 5.1 has a fixed camera button located next to the slide to unlock button which is for easy access to the camera and Siri in Japanese language.
We already have seen untethered jailbreak Corona and Absinthe jailbreaks of iOS 5.1 which will be fixed by Apple in its next iOS firmware update.
