Apple released iOS 5 beta 4 for developers having over-the-air updating feature (OTA) along with Wi-Fi syncing to Windows users.

A recent tweet from iH8sn0w claims that iOS 5 beta 4 expires on 31st August,2011 at 08:00 EST.

There are speculations that iOS 5 beta 4 might be the last beta version before the release of iOS 5 to the public.Moreover,iPhone 5 is expected to be launched in September and will come with pre – installed iOS 5.

If you are using iOS 5 beta 4 in your idevice it is advisable to downgrade your firmware as your idevice will be locked after expiry date.

To downgrade your idevice by saving SHSH blobs.

If you have a developer’s account you will be upgraded to the new beta version, no need to worry.
