Apple has officially sent invitations for Media Event which will be held on March 7 in San Francisco to announce iPad 3.
The venue of the iPad 3 Media Event will be Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and it is expected to begin at 10:00 AM Pacific / 1:00 PM Easter and the tag line of the Invitation is “We have something you really have to see. And touch.”
It is being expected that iPad 3 will have a high Resolution Retina Display, quad-core Apple A6 system-on-a-chip,4G LTE and better camera as compared to iPad 2 may be 5 or 8MP rear camera and it will be 0.8 mm thicker than iPad 2
Earlier Best Buy slashed the price of iPad 2 models by $50.16GB iPad Wi-Fi model is available for only $449.Local Retailer Meijer was also offering a discount of $70 on iPad 2 16GB WiFi model.
There were earlier reports from Foxconn that it is preparing to ship the next iPad to US.
Apart from announcing iPad 3 on Media Event Apple may launch next generation Apple TV.
