iPhone 5 rumors are rampant on web as according to the latest development the guys at Digitimes report that Apple is planning to change the size of iPhone 4 to 4-inch,currently the size of iPhone 4 is 3.5 inch.By changing the size Apple is planning to compete with Android.
According to upstream component suppliers-
The component suppliers noted that the production lines for Apple’s next generation iPhone have begun testing, and Apple is interesting in expanding the screen size to 4-inches to support the tablet PC market as the vendor only has a 9.7-inch iPad in the market.
Most of the Android smartphones have 4 inch and larger models.Sharp is having a smartphone of 5.5 inch.
It is also being said that Apple is planning to adopt A5 processor in iPhone 5.
In fact, Apple already began handling some A4 orders to TSMC in 2010 when Samsung’s capacity was unable to fulfill strong demand of Apple devices, the sources said, adding that the move at the time was perhaps to test TSMC’s capability.
According to Digitimes Research, the iPad 2 will support an enhanced version of the A4 and the A5 will power the iPhone 5. TSMC will initially produce the improved A4, and could likely become the exclusive manufacturer of the A5.
