Apple fans are anxiously waiting for the much awaited next generation iPhone.
Earlier reports suggests October launch of iPhone 5 whereas pre-order will start from late September.Apple has till now however not made any announcement regarding iPhone 5 launch.
A recent report moreover claims about the so-called release date of iPhone 5.
CEO Stéphane Richard stated while talking over Radio said that “If I believe what we heard, the iPhone will be released Oct. 15,” and then he further added that “To date, no date is known for its commercial launch even though its production seems to have started in several echoes in the press.”
It is very unlikely that Stéphane Richard claims are based on rumors and speculations as he is a top executive of a major Telecom Company.He must be aware of what he is talking about!
Earlier, Richard had revealed about the launch date of iPad beforehand and MacRumors also reports that he also commented about Apple’s idea of built-in “e-SIM”.Currently, Apple has put a hold on its idea regarding built-in “e-SIM”.
Stéphane Richard is quite open about talking about his carrier’s issues so he must have revealed the date of iPhone 5 by mistake.He must be having some brief idea as the much hyped iPhone is expected to be launched by October.
We know that Foxconn is manufacturing 150,000 iPhone everyday and Apple will be sending iOS 5 GM to its overseas suppliers by September 23.iOS 5 Beta 8 will be released on 16th September and the next generation iPhone will have in-built iOS 5.
The launch date of 15th October is unlikely as it is a Saturday, Apple would prefer to launch it on Friday,so most likely we can expect iPhone 5 launch on October 14.
