iPhone 5 Will Put Galaxy S III To Shame – Foxconn CEO

Foxconn chariman Terry Gou has urged customers not to buy Samsung Galaxy S III and wait for the launch of iPhone 5 this year.

While speaking at annual shareholders’ meeting Gou said that he has acquired 46.5 percent stake in Sharp’s Sakai-based 10th-generation LCD panel plant to defeat Samsung.

“Gou also urged consumers to wait for the launch of Apple’s iPhone 5, saying that the new model will put Samsung’s Galaxy III to shame.

He stressed that the pioneering technology at Sharp’s 10th generation plant will give the company a three-year competitive edge over Samsung.”

He further said that Samsung has a track record of snitching on its competitors which is in reference to 2010 where Samsung snitched by informing an EU court of price fixing among four Taiwanese companies where Samsung was exempted from investigation as it acted as “tainted witness.”

iPhone 5 will for sure have a “Classic Cult” status because of the involvement of Steve Jobs right from the concept to design and will be launched this fall along with iOS 6.
