Samsung Electronics has launched S Health app for Samsung Galaxy S III.The app was initially announced in May this year in the launch event of Galaxy S III.The app can be used to monitor blood glucose and blood pressure.The app is compatible with healthcare sensors of our body and it transfers various health measurements to Galaxy S III through Bluetooth or USB and provides information about the health of the users.
Simon Stanford who is the Vice President, Telecommunications & Networks, Samsung UK and Ireland said, “S Health can provide real benefits in terms of tracking and monitoring health and wellness for our customers. We’re delighted to bring this innovative application to the Galaxy S III’s portfolio of diverse content and applications to suit different needs.”

The app is compatible with health readers and sensors from Lifescan Blood Glucose Meter (OneTouch UltraMini/UltraEasy Blood Glucose Meter), OMRON Blood Pressure Monitor (HEM-7081-IT) and Body Composition (HBF-206-IT) and A&D Blood Pressure Monitor (UA-767PBT-C) and Body Composition (UA-321PBT-C)
Currently, S Health is available for download in the U.S.,UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Korea.U.S.users can download the app from Google Play directly.UK users can download the app through Samsung’s More Services on the Galaxy SIII.Samsung will be introducing the app soon globally.
