Samsung Galaxy S5 will be released at the Mobile World Congress event to be held in Barcelona, Spain (MWC 2014) next month. As per Dong-hoon Chang, EVP and Head of Design Team for the company’s IT & Mobile Communications division and Head of Design Strategy Team at Samsung Electronics’ Corporate Design Center, Samsung will launch Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Specs and Features
There is no official confirmation regarding features and specs of Samsung Galaxy S5. It is expected that Galaxy S5
would sport a bigger 5.25-inch QHD display of resolution 2560×1440 pixels. The smartphone will be running on KitKat OS, 64-bit architecture based Exynos Octa-Core processor, 4GB RAM, 16-megapixel main camera with ISOCELL technology, 2.1-megapixel front camera and Iris or finger print scanner for screen un-locking.
Galaxy S5 will likely have a metallic body which will make it resistant to dust and water. There are rumors that Galaxy S5 will come in two variants – one will have a metal chassis and a flexible OLED, and another variant which will sport plastic body normally found in Galaxy smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S5 will be priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract as Galaxy S4 whereas unlocked version of Galaxy S5 would be priced at between $700 to $800.
