Apple has sent out invites for 21 March 2016 event, it is expected that Apple will launch iPhone SE, 9.7-inch iPad Pro or iPad Air 3, new Apple Watch bands and release of final versions of iOS 9.3.
Apple’s 21 March event which says “Let us loop you in” will be held at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, 21 March 2016 at 10am Pacific Time.
The iPhone SE
It is expected that Apple will be announcing the much rumored 4-inch new iPhone, the “iPhone SE” or “iPhone 5SE” which will replace iPhone 5S and will be similar to iPhone 6s. iPhone SE is expected to have A9 processor along with an M9 coprocessor, 2GB RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera with Live Photos support and NFC for Apple Pay. iPhone SE will however come without 3D Touch support which is found in the latest iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It is expected that the price of iPhone SE will be between $400 and $500 which will less than the cost of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
The iPad
Apple is also expected to announce a new iPad on March 21 event. The new iPad would be the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, or the iPad Air 3. The iPad Air 2 was announced in the year 2014 and was not updated in 2015. The 9.7 -inch iPad Pro will differ only in size of 12.9-inch iPad Pro. It is expected that the new iPad will have A9X processor, 4GB RAM, 12-megapixel camera, four speaker system, Smart Connector for connecting accessories like Apple’s Smart Keyboard and support for Apple Pencil.
The March 21 event could also see the launch of some new new sixth-generation core line (Skylake-based) MacBooks and MacBook Pros along with the final release of iOS 9.3 and watchOS 2.2.
