A Redditor eavesdroppingyou has found a hack which can free up gigabytes of space on your iPhone by renting a movie from iTunes. This hack works great when you are using 8GB or 16GB iPhone.
At first check the amount of storage available on your iPhone by going to , Settings >>General >> About and then navigate “Available”. Once, you have checked the available storage on iPhone, head over to iTunes Store and search for a movie which is of bigger file size than the storage available on iPhone.
Search for an example, “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers” which is of size 6.84GB and then click on “Rent”. A pop-up will appear saying that you don’t have sufficient storage.
When you get the message that you don’t have sufficient storage, click ‘OK’. Go back to settings on iPhone and check your available storage now. You will for sure significant increase in the available storage.
