Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has unveiled Elife E8 and Marathon M5 smartphones in Beijing, China. Elife E8 will be its flagship whereas Marathon M5 will be for users who like long battery smartphones.
Elife E8 sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED screen having 1440x2540p resolution, running on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo UI 3.1. It has a 2GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6785 chipset with 3GB RAM and comes with 64GB internal storage.
It features a 23.7-megapixel rear-camera with real-time lossless zoom, dual-tone LED flash, capable of taking photos of 100 MP resolution. It also comes with 8 MP front facing camera.
The Elife E8 is dual-sim and supports 4G and NFC. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and also has fingerprint scanner.

The Marathon M5 comes with a 6020 mAh battery. It uses dual battery cell technology which consists of two 3010 mAh cells. The smartphone has 62 hours on standby with only 5% of charge.
