LG has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone G5 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. LG G5 is first modular smartphone with a slider in the bottom which can be removed to attach various components to the device separately.
LG G5 sports a 5.3-inch Quad-HD display with 3D Arc Glass, is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 4 GB RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The smartphone sports a 16 megapixel rear camera along with a 8 megapixel front camera, has 32 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 2 TB and is packed with a 2800mAh battery.
LG has also launched additional components along with the device called as “LG Friends” which includes a 360-degree camera, the LG 360 VR headset and the LG Rolling Bot.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 BLS, NFC and USB 3.0 Type-C connector.
