Marvel fans know that the Marvel Universe has a huge library of superhero movies and shows to enjoy, but which movies are the best? 1. Guardians of the Galaxy
Release Date: August 1, 2014
Guardians of the Galaxy starts out following Peter Quill on his quest to steal a powerful orb wanted by radical Kree warlord Ronan. After he obtains the orb, he must run from the ever spiteful Ronan and meets his what will be his new best friends; Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Gamora and Drax. Through this quest they learn how truly destructive the orb and Ronan is and band together to save the universe.
Guardians of the Galaxy can rejoice at the prospects of a sequel! As of right now, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is slated to drop into theaters sometime in 2023 barring any delays in production due to the coronavirus.

2. Iron Man
Release Date: May 2, 2008
Tony Stark gets kidnapped by a terrorist group and while being under their captivity he realizes that his weapons are in the hands of very dangerous people. Upon his return, Tony Stark vows that his company Stark Industries will stop selling military weapons and starts his work refining the armored suit he created that helped him get his freedom.
Unfortunately for Iron Man super fans, Disney already announced that there will be no Iron Man 4. The conclusion of Iron Man’s character was reached in Avengers: Endgame. However, fans still have all three Iron Man movies, the Avengers franchise and even an Iron Man cartoon fans can enjoy on Disney+.
3. Captain America: The First Avenger
Release Date: May 6, 2016
Steve Rogers didn’t want anything more than to serve in the military. Rejection after rejection, he was offered a rare chance that looked for qualities beyond the physical, but as a super soldier. Steve Rogers went from skinny with disqualifying health conditions to beefy in a matter of minutes into what we know now as Captain America.
There’s three Captain America movies in the Marvel Universe with no word if there will ever be a fourth movie in the franchise. Fans can also find the character Captain America featured in the Avengers movies.
4. Black Panther
Release Date: February 16, 2018
T’Challa returns home to the very advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as king soon after the death of his father. As part of tradition he has to fight for his rightful place if challenged and T’Challa is by an unknown foe, who has waited his entire life to find his home and attempt a claim at the throne to a place he’s never lived.
Despite Chadwick Boseman’s passing, Black Panther 2 is slated to be released sometime in 2022. To honor his character T’Challa, it won’t be recast. The plot details for the sequel haven’t been released to the public, but there’s a lot of speculation of which character will be taking over as ruler of Wakanda.
5. Thor
Release Date: November 3, 2017
Ordin, Thor’s father and king of Asgard casts Thor out for being greedy, arrogant and just plain counterproductive to the interests of their people by violating the Frost Giants treaty. Thor without his powers and on earth must figure out a way back to Asgard before Loki takes advantage of his absence by stealing the throne and therefore banishing Thor forever.
Fans of the Thor franchise can watch the first three movies on Disney+ with the fourth installment called Thor: Love and Thunder due to be released in theaters in 2022. Thor is also featured in the Avenger franchise as well.
