Want to block websites on Safari browser of your iPhone and iPad for privacy and security? iOS 6 and earlier versions had no direct way to block websites on Safari, however, with the release of iOS 7 and now iOS 8 you can block websites on your iPhone or iPad.

Block Websites on Safari for Phone, iPad
Step 1: Turn on your iPhone or iPad, and go to the “Settings” app from Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Now, tap on the “General”.
Step 3: You will have to now scroll down the list and tap on “Restrictions”.
Step 4: If you have enabled restriction earlier on your iPod or iPhone, enter the passcode. If you have not enabled restrictions, tap on “Enable Restrictions” and add passcode.
Step 5: In “Restrictions”, scroll down the list and tap on “Websites”
Step 6: Now, tap on “Limit Adult Content”
Step 7: On “Limit Adult content” there are two options: “Always Allow” and “Never Allow”. Tap on “Never Allow”.
Step 8: Once you have tapped on “Never Allow”, go to “Add a website”.
Step 9: On “Add a Website” you can add any website which you want to block on your iPhone or iPad. Considering an example, you can add a full URL of the website such as www.crackberry.com
Step 10. Exit.
Step 11: To test if the restriction has been enabled. Open Safari and go to the website you just blocked. You will get a message “you cannot browse www.crackberry.com because it is restricted”.
