One of the most common issues faced by iPhone users is Mobile or Cellular data not working. Mobile data not working on iPhone can be a really frustrating for iPhone users, what if you are out and have to send an important email to your office?

1.  Turn Mobile Data On/Off

If you are facing data connectivity issues on iPhone make sure that mobile data is enabled.

Launch Settings app on your iPhone.

Tap on Mobile Data  to ensure Mobile Data is enabled.

Turn Off Mobile Data and then Turn On.

2Restart iPhone

To restart iPhone follow the following procedure:

Press and hold the sleep/wake button.

Slide the slider to turn off the iPhone while waiting for few seconds.

Press and hold the sleep/wake button again until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

3. Reset Network Settings

Try to Reset Network Settings and see if mobile data connectivity issue gets resolved.

Open “Settings”.

Tap on “General” and then on “Reset”.

Now, Click on “Reset Network Settings”.

4. Update iOS

If you are still not getting mobile data connectivity, install the latest iOS update on your iPhone. To update your device to the latest iOS version-

Go to Settings and then tap on General.

Install the latest iOS update.

5. Carrier Settings Update 

If you are facing data connectivity issues, check whether there are any carrier settings update. if any new carrier settings update is available you will get a pop-up saying that a new carrier settings update is available.

Launch “Settings” app and tap “General”.

Tap on “About”.

 

6Restore iPhone As New Using iTunes

Take Backup Of iPhone, iPad using iTunes 

To take a backup of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, connect your device to Mac/PC via USB cable.

Launch iTunes and wait till iTunes detects your device.

Once your device is detected, select backup.

Set  backup to This Computer.

Take a backup of music,  photos, videos, apps, and other data.

 

To restore:

Connect your iPhone to your PC using iTunes.

Make sure that you are running the latest version of iTunes.

Click on the iPhone icon in the menu bar of iTunes.

In iTunes Summary Page click on Restore iPhone.

You will get a warning sign that your data will be erased. Click on Restore iPhone option again.

Once iPhone is restored, set up iPhone as new.
