Do you own iPhone 4S or iPad 2 and want to downgrade your device to iOS 6? The release of iOS 7 brought a new UI along with other customization and improvements. Downgrading to older versions is difficult as Apple stops signing the older firmware.
However, iPhone 4s or iPad 2 users now have a reason to cheer as they can now downgrade back to iOS 6.1.3 without SHSH blobs.
A reddit user e1ghtSpace has released tool called OdysseusOTA that lets you to downgrade iPhone 4s and iPad 2 to iOS 6.1.3 without the use of TinyUmbrella.
Downgrade iPhone 4S, iPad 2 To iOS 6.1.3 Without SHSH Blobs Using OdysseusOTA
The devices which support downgrading to iOS 6.1.3 should be on iOS 5.0.1 or iOS 5.1.1. Apple is still signing in . 6.1.3 because of a bug.
This tool will only work on devices that support iOS 5.0.1. This means that only the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S is supported. It doesn’t matter if your device came with iOS 5.1+ as long as you have a device that can support iOS 5.0.1 you are good.
Why? Because Apple made a mistake in their code and devices that are on iOS 5.0.1 MUST update to iOS 6.1.3 (if they are updating via OTA) in order for their deceive to be able to update (again) to latest iOS version.
Once you have downgraded to iOS 6.1.3 you will be able to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 using P0sixspwn.
