iOS 10 Stuck At “Update Requested” On iPhone and iPad- Here’s How To Fix

Apple has released its new iOS 10 to public, many users are facing issues while downloading the software update on iPhone, iPad. Common iOS 10 issues include, software update failed, update stuck at “update requested” and more.

 

iOS 10 is a major software update and has been installed on more than 14% of devices since its official release on September 13. If you are facing issue, “Update Requested” while downloading iOS 10 on your iPhone, iPad, read on.

1.  Hard Reset

First of all, try to perform a hard reset on your iPhone, iPad to see if it resolves iOS 10 stuck at “Update Requested”.

Hold down the Power button and the Home button simultaneously until the iPhone shuts down and restarts again.

2. Check your Network Connection

If you are facing stuck at “Update Requested” while updating to iOS 10, first check your 3G/Wifi Network connection. Turn off your network and restart iPhone again. If you are connected to 3G or 4G try to connect your iPhone, iPad to Wifi.

 

3. Install the latest IPSW via iTunes

Connect your device to your computer using USB cable.

Select the device in iTunes.

Windows users  hold down “SHIFT” key and then click on “Update” whereas, Mac users hold down the “Option” key and then click on “Update”.
